Appointment Policy
RSMC offers a flexible appointment system to accommodate patients with routine, acute, chronic care and prevenative health care needs. A scheduled visit is required for all appointments during weekdays and we have a doctor on duty for urgent cases. Please contact our receptionist on 6331 2266 and a receptionist will assist you with an appointment.
While our doctors devote sufficient time to each patient to deal with his or her problem they may take longer then the allocated time, causing other patients to wait. Should you require a longer appointment time, for example, first visit, medical check-up or for a more complex problem, please advise the receptionist when making the appointment.
Saturday Morning Clinic
RSMC is opened on Saturday morning for urgent cases, as there is only one GP working, we do not schedule appointments until on the day.
Cancelled Appointments
Please advise as early as possible if you cannot keep an appointment so that the time can be allocated to another patient.
Home Visits
Home visits are available for regular patients whose condition prevents them attending the practice. It is up to each Doctor’s discretion as to how far they will travel and if the circumstances are safe and reasonable. Please speak with reception should you require a home visit, preferably before 9am.
Urgent/Emergency Cases
Where all doctors are fully booked for the day, an on-call Doctor is available for urgent cases.
